About Christway Ministries
Christway Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian organization founded by Jesse Nolan to serve people in need through street outreach, community events, Bible study, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
From a young age, Jesse’s mother told him that he had a heart for people experiencing homelessness and those who were struggling in life. As he grew older, that heart expanded into a desire to serve people facing many different challenges, including homelessness, addiction, poverty, trauma, and brokenness.
After battling addiction himself, Jesse experienced firsthand how complicated these struggles can be. It is not always as simple as making a choice. Addiction and other difficult circumstances can be connected to trauma, mental health struggles, poverty, broken relationships, and many other layers of life.
Christway Ministries exists to meet people where they are.
Through street outreach and community events, we seek to provide practical help with everyday needs while showing people the love and hope of Jesus Christ. We believe serving people means caring for both their physical needs and their spiritual needs.
Most importantly, we want people to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Through our outreach, community events, and Bible studies, we pray that seeds are planted and watered, and that people ultimately come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Our hope is that people will experience freedom from the trauma, addiction, and bondage that have held them back and discover the transformation that comes through Jesus Christ. Jesse has personally witnessed that transformation in the lives of many people, and that is the hope we want to share with others.
What We Do
Street Outreach
We go outside the walls of the church and into the community to serve people where they are, provide practical support, build relationships, pray with people, and share the Gospel.
Community Events
We host community events that bring people together, meet practical needs, create opportunities for connection, and share the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
Bible Study
We create opportunities for people to study the Bible, learn about Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and build a stronger foundation in God's Word.
